Call it a day...

Rotten day: started out with an early-morning mammogram. Poked and prodded and squished.

Then: long wait at an incredibly cold bus stop.

Then: Aches and pains of all sorts at work. Abdominal pain, headache, aching eyes....

Good evening: commodorified, iclysdale and auriaephiala came over. We ate lentil soup, cheese, crackers, bread, and salad, and watched the latest episode of Torchwood ("Dead Man Walking") and then episode 3 of Due South ("Diefenbaker's Day Off").

And we talked.

commodorified may be the only person I know who has read all Dorothy Dunnett's Johnson Johnson books, but none of the historicals. I wonder if she has read "The Proving Climb".

Oops, that was me. Last night. Too groggy to realize I was logged in as her. I'm the one who hasn't seen all of Buffy. I'm not sure about her, but... I think she has.
