maaseru and I went to the Loblaw's on McArthur Road to get some groceries. I needed tea. Bought a teapot, four cups, a pullover and a pair of gloves. I think I was ambushed....
I'm seriously planning to set up a
plastic-free kitchen. Can I do this? Well, why not?
Catalogued some 400 comics today. The only hard part was resisting the temptation to sit and read (or reread) them.
lunacy_gal, now one of my knitting gurus, came over and taught me how to cast on. She also taught me how to purl, as
commodorified,
fairestcat and Beulah have already done. Somehow it hasn't quite stuck in my brain or fingers yet. I think I must be the slowest-witted would-be knitter ever. We watched an episode of
Due South I hadn't seen before - one of the best, I thought, 3x15, "Easy Money". As with all the episodes I've seen so far with Kowalski in them, he didn't seem to be in it much, and didn't seem to be central to the action the way Vecchio was. I loved the theme about his parents, though.
Over dinner, watched a few episodes of
Merlin (which I'm beginning to think is asinine) and the latest episode of
Smallville.
Smallville looked good in comparison, but I wasn't drawn in.
