World Enough and Time

I went to see The Queen with walkingowl. It was an oddly moving and oddly ambiguous movie. Subtle. Smart. Might have been written by Tony Blair's PR men, except that they weren't shown in an entirely favourable light.

The movie is about the reaction of the Queen and the Royal family after the death of Princess Diana. I got tearful more than once - especially in the stag scene - but I also wanted, on several occasions, to shout at Queen Elizabeth.
