I'd love the font of your handwriting, if you don't mind sharing. Most of the 'handwriting' fonts I'm finding are actually hand printing; I was looking for script.
Try Canada Type (http://canadatype.com/), Ray Larabie's Typodermic (http://typodermic.com), and the odd Blambot (http://blambot.com/) as well. Typodermic may have supplied the monitor display font seen on JJ Abrams' version of the Enterprise bridge: Korataki (http://www.typodermic.com/73.html). I am not entirely certain of this, though.
Check out the Apostrophic Laboratory archives (http://apostrophiclab.pedroreina.net/) while you're at it. The fonts range all over the map, and I think you may find more than a few of them useful for any number of projects.
What a fascinating site! I love it that half the fonts are named after drugs. And they are so interesting. This is a treasure trove - even if just for browsing - thank you!
You're welcome! I'm not sure what I think of the font-naming practice they had back when they were in full flower with their own site, but the Apostrophic Laboratory came up with a lot of great designs. I thought Republika was among the most ambitious of their works, with Komika close behind.
I highly recommend Chank Fonts, too (here (http://www.chank.com/freefonts.php) for the free ones at their site). (Chank is a type designer most known for his fonts he created for Taco Bell, among others.)
And all of Larabie Fonts are free in TT format if you get them here at My Fonts (http://www.myfonts.com/browse/foundry/larabie/) (myfonts.com). They're a professional design house, and I recommend them highly.
If you're looking for something special, mail me in LJ, eh? Remember, this is part of what I do for a living: I typeset for the "big houses" and so have the ahem wherewithal to find what you need.

Gothics has the Highlander credits font on its second page
Wonderful. I was hoping to be able to get the Torchwood font as well, but apparently no one has yet found or designed it. A few fans have simulated with skills I do not (yet) possess. I love some of the medieval ones - though I notice that some things are called 'medieval' which are from from it. Not surprising.
It's a measure of how distracted I have been for years ... I used to enjoy browsing font archives (but that was before free TrueType and Adobe fonts came along).
