Birthday...

I love birthdays.

E-mails and phone calls and messages from friends. I turned my back on my desk for a few minutes, and a chocolate bar magically appeared on my chair. I like that kind of apportation. It's a beautiful day, too: I went for a walk at lunch. A walk! Not moving quickly, but ... moving.

Does anyone know of a restaurant in Ottawa where one can order créme brulèe? Besides Carmello's?

My cold is fading. I wish I could say it was all gone. Well, soon. Those obnoxious coughing fits are fewer all the time.

I did - and he weather couldn't have been nicer. < lj user=golden_hinde> and Jennifer got a cake for me at work, which was wonderful, too. Tomorrow I get a nice birthday dinner, so there's more to look forward to.
