My arms are sore this morning. Six minutes on the rowing machine yesterday, and now: sore arms. Doesn't bode well for the weight training session I'm about to do.
You are right - and the soreness is gone. I thought yesterday that it was maybe from one of the weight machines, rather than the rowing, after all. On the theory (explained by the real fitness trainer, not Bruce Wayne) that one should only do weights and strength-based workouts every second day, I will not row today, but tomorrow, when I do weights. I think I'll do the kundalini yoga exercise "the frog" at the same time - it's a doozy for leg muscles, and Aliya wants to get me started on double sessions, now that single sessions are easy. (More or less.)
Yes, I am a little on the ambitious side with these exercises, but it's better than being complacent or lazy with them. It's a whole new exciting world for me.
