I don't know if I believe anything I read in The Sun, but the picture is cool.

The significant point is that it's the first thing I've read or heard that implies that Captain Jack Harkness might appear in series 4 Doctor Who.

Captain Jack (John Barrowman), new assistant Donna (Catherine Tate), old travelling companion Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen) and Rose’s mum Jackie (Camille Coduri) were also on the set.

I'm hoping. I'm really, really hoping.

And I must confess, I'm smiling at the notion of Jack meeting Jackie.

Jack is definitely in the S4 finale. He's confirmed it, and he's been seen (& photographed) on set.

Aah, I'm happy, then.

Companion-palooze, plus Doctor-whump. Course what it all actually means is still a big ??

I'm trying to avoid spoilers, and so haven't been looking there. I saw a few spoilers last year that I was very sorry to have seen; and they were misleading anyway. So I'm being careful.

But - so happy to have this good news! Even if he's just in it a little but, he's in it!
