Heroes: Powerless...

Now, wasn't "Powerless" an episode title on Life just a few weeks ago? Is this the consequence of the writers' strike, that they're conserving titles is case they run out?
So we've reached the end of vol. 2.
- I hope Niki is gone for good. I hope Monica is never tied up and weeping and begging to be released again. Micah is wonderful and I love his power.
- I don't think Nathan is dead. Bennet and Maya have both recently been shot and recovered. When he was making his speech it seemed inevitable that he would be shot. It was a 'shoot me' speech if ever I heard one. He just about paused for the bullet.
- Sylar is empowered again. I'm sorry, but not surprised. I still don't like Sylar.
- I like Elle. I hope she turns to the good and continues to be interesting.
- Hiro! Wonderful. Loved him this time. Just loved him. Including his revenge on Adam.
- What is Bennet going to do? Is he really going to work for Bob again? I don't think so.
- I hope we've seen the last of West. I was sorry Maya recovered. I don't think I like any of the new characters except Elle. And she is, just slightly, coasting on my love of Veronica Mars. It inclines me to give her the benefit of the doubt.
- Loved the reunion of Nathan and Peter. Those two are so mushy.
- All in all, looking back on vol. 2, I didn't like it nearly as much as vol. 1. It had its moments, but none of my favourite characters were in fine form - e ven Bennet, I'm sorry to say. Mohinder was mostly pathetic. Matt was great, as was his father. Nathan and Angela Petrelli were marvellous, but Peter didn't have a clue, he was so gullible.
- What has happened to Caitlin? I thought Peter was going after her to save her. Has she disappeared, never to be seen again? Or will he make her a quest? (I hope not.) Can he just send Hiro to fetch her, return her to Ireland, and that's that?

Second, after the shots are fired. Matt looks up and they make a point of showing us a man walking away from the crowd. His back is turned, but he's got Bennet's walk, and others have sworn it's the back of Coleman's head. I'll look for confirmation in Behind-The-Scenes stuff.

My current suspicion is that the Bennet thing is a set-up and a red herring, and that it was actually someone else who shot Nathan. It might have been Sylar posing as Bennet, if he has his powers back.
