Insanely literal-minded - that's what science degrees do to you. *g* I did eventually get it when I realised that I can on occasion be depressingly negative about things and will focus exclusively on what's missing rather than what's there. Oh yes.

21. The problem was that I was good across the board. Yes, it was a problem because it meant I ended up choosing sciences because that's what the bright kids chose (and what my older brother had chosen), and in retrospect I'd probably have been happier doing archaeology.

24. It varies tremendously. Thick pyjamas (and socks!) in winter and nothing at all at the moment.

I can read a normal sized paperback page in less than 30 seconds - I've been timed.

That's a wonderful talent! I usually estimate my reading speed as one minute per page, but of course it varies with the print size. I know I read much more slowly than I used to; I'm not sure why.
