Last Son of Krypton

Jack found him in a Kansas cornfield, groaning, his fingers green and contorted. Eyes bright with desperation, he whispered, "Take me away."

So Jack did.

He was young, beautiful, and not born in Kansas. "Meteor rocks," he explained, over coffee at a diner five miles away. "I'm allergic."

"I was studying them," said Jack. "Residue from a planet that blew up sixteen, seventeen years ago. Krypton, they called it. I visited there once."

"How?"

Jack grinned. "I've been around. I liked the place."

The farm boy smiled back. "I'm Clark Kent. But... if you like... you can call me Kal-El."

It's certainly worth thinking about! I'm not sure how to make it Clex, though. I'll continue to ponder. I'm not sure why, but I think Jack and Lex wouldn't get along. Maybe I think there'd be jealousy over Clark?

Well, I'd definitely be on board for that! But you wouldn't have to make it Clex unless you wanted to. Although it's a wonderful notion!

You know that I always like to make it Clex. Now, if I can find a way to make it click in my head, I would be happy to have Jack having sex with Clark, and I'm sure that would make Jack happy too. It just needs more thought. I am so in the mindset of pairing Clark with Lex that I have to work at any other potential scenario. It's not that I mind pairing either of them with other people - you've seen me do it! - it's more a matter of thinking it through.

Jack is easy. According to the producers of the show, Jack will go after 'anyone with a phone number' or 'anyone who's breathing'. I've heard John Barrowman (who plays Jack) put it more crudely than that on late-night interview shows. He's the most outspoken actor I've ever come across, and I love him for it.

Anyway, he'd love a gorgeous alien like Clark. He's a very loving man.
