But I like it as a scent. I got this from vanilla (!)

![]() I am a quiet, fresh taste, almost more of a scent than a flavour. You will be aware of me, but not quite remember me without being reminded. Not that I'm boring; on the contrary, I'm just a little outside the ordinary. What Flavour Are You? |
I like being 'out of the ordinary'.

Date: 2007-02-09 04:05 pm (UTC)There I was at a family party and Carey, a man of much ickiness, pous some into a glass of Coke, then 5 minutes later my mum comes by and says Oh Sweety! You can have alcohol and pours some scotch into the drink. Ouzo+Coke+Scotch != Good. Actually that shouldn't be surprising as Coke and Scotch are bad enough... of cours eI had to share this disgusting concoction with my stepsis who skulled it...
well this answer isn't long rambling and off the point or anything.

Date: 2007-02-09 04:09 pm (UTC)I like Mavrodaphne of Patras: it's a sweet Greek red wine. Utterly yummy. Mind, I'm the sort who can happily drink dessert wine with food...

Date: 2007-02-09 04:20 pm (UTC)That sounds like it might be worth seeking out. I am the sort who can drink it with or without food I have a thing for botrytis at the moment.
Though my favourite drinks are still a toss up between frangelico, drambuie and glayva.

Date: 2007-02-09 05:40 pm (UTC)Have you ever drunk Tokaji Aszu (5 puttonyos grade)?
Drambuie is OK as a liqueur-chocolate filling, but too syrup-y to drink for my liking. Glayva is a rip-off of it, and not as nice. Neither is as good as Green Chartreuse. Frangelico's OK, but I think Amaretto's better.
I haven't seen the wondrously purple Parfait Amour for years.
Goldschläger is fun because of the gold-leaf, and the cinnamon!

Date: 2007-02-12 12:00 am (UTC)No I haven't -- haven't seen it in any of the shops I tend to go to, I think I would need to go to one of the larger more supermarket sized stores to find it...
Oh gosh this conversation is making me highly desirous of wandering off to the Apothecary for some nice drinks.
Except it's 1030 -- which wouldn't matter os much as i'm unemplyoed but alas being unemployed I cannot afford the Apothecary.
Oh! One more reason to go find a job -- but notuntil after OWeek as I will be busy busy busy until then.

No more so than anyone else's! And less than most. *grins*
