I really enjoyed this message from Toshiko to her aunt on the Torchwood web page - spoilers in it for Greeks Bearing Gifts.

Now, if we take the website as canon (and I would) it's interesting that Ianto read this and showed it to Jack. I take it that Ianto has translation software that did a good job, rather than that he reads Japanese himself? Or does he?

On reflection, I think he probably does speak Japanese. Smart boy, Ianto.

My favourite line isn't about Mary or the Greeks plot. It's this part: Last time I saw you, you were so busy giving me soup recipes, I never got a chance to tell you I worked for a secret organisation dedicated to saving the Earth from alien threats, did I?
