On the Trail of Philip Augustus...

Before work today I went to the University of Ottawa library to pick up two biographies of Philipa Augustus, the ones by Bradbury and Sivery, and discovered when I got to the check-out desk that my Smart Card has expired and I have to go back to the public library to get another then, then back to the OttawaU library to get a card there.... And the public library doesn't even open today until 1.

Yeah, I know, I shouldn't be impatient, I couldn't sit and read the books this morning anyway. I'm at work. Doing useful things. Right? Right.

Libraries: I love 'em and I'm happy they exist, but I want them to be always open, to always have all the books I want, and always let me check them out if I want to.

I never realized what a big shit libraries were to people until I started working in one. I always thought it was just me. Imagine my shock! Everyone else is JUST AS CRAZY AS I AM! :O
