Squeaker...
Aug. 6th, 2006 10:30 amI took a photo last night of Squeaker, the sweetest guinea pig I know.

Now, her eyes are really red, not yellow, that's the effect of the camera and flash. But the rest is right, including the reddish fur on her nose and her back. Isn't she a sweetheart?
And a note for

Date: 2006-08-07 04:33 pm (UTC)I was just reading on wiki about the language of guinea pigs - wheeking, popcorning, squealing, tribbling... all of it cute!

Date: 2006-08-10 04:14 pm (UTC)Honey is so quiet, it must be because she's alone with me, but she's extremely active otherwise, so I know she's happy!
That said, she can be very noisy with the little noise she makes, primarily whining. I find that hilarious. She sounds like a two year old.

Date: 2006-08-10 04:56 pm (UTC)I suspect most guinea pigs are a lot more quiet than Squeaker is. I think she's at the far end of the 'noisy' spectrum for her kind.
Which is far short of the 'quiet' end of the spectrum for a budgie, and my little feathered guys specialize in rambunctious mayhem.
