fajrdrako: ([Torchwood] - Captain John Hart)

From If Magazine's website:
Q: There are rumors of a U.S. TORCHWOOD project .Has anybody talked to you about the possibility of you reprising/recreating your Captain John character in that?

JAMES MARSTERS: I don’t think they’ve talked to me yet because they know that I’d come within seconds. I love it. I would come so fast to that project. I mean, if they do anything more in England, I would come to that. I understand they do some of their scripts on radio, specifically for radio, I’d love to do that for the BBC. I’d love to do an American version, all of it.
He's recently done a recorded radio version of The Importance of Being Ernest, so he has radio plays on the mind. Works for me. Anything, anything at all.

And why haven't they asked him?

Bring back Torchwood! Bring back Captain John Hart!

fajrdrako: ([John Barrowman])

I enjoyed this article, John Barrowman: My tiff with Andrew Lloyd Webber, though I don't see anything about a tiff - it's about how they get along well together, and how Barrowman will be in his next TV show.

And of course the other thing that's not in the article is anything about a continuation of the role of Captain Jack.

I despair, I really do.

I notice that talk has changed from "having a kid" to "adopting a kid".

Marion and Vicky came over for lunch today, with the first series DVD set of Inspector Lewis for me and [livejournal.com profile] maaseru to watch. We saw the pilot.

It was wonderful. I totally loved it: the script, the acting, the characters, the setting (Oxford, of course) and the Hamlet references.

Marion said she'd been reading Lewis/Hathaway slash. I wonder where she found it.
