Lovely morning...

It's a gorgeous day and it's my birthday! Yay! I've managed to make it as far as fifty-seven. Who'd have thought?

I walked downtown this morning to get my hair done, and it was a gorgeous day for walking. I feel happy and idle and free.

Orlando Bloom...

An interesting article about Orlando Bloom, with thanks to pfyre for bringing it to my attention.

My take on Bloom's career is a little different: I'd give him less credit. I thought he was stunning as Legolas in Lord of the Rings, but I've been disappointed by him in everything I've seen him in since. Disappointed on just about every level. He has been, frankly, dull.

I think he needs a superb director to shine, and he got one with Peter Jackson.

I don't suspect he's gone far, or for long.

Merlin: The Curse of Cornelius Sigan...

Last night explodedteabag and I watched Merlin series 2 episode 1, "The Curse of Cornelius Sigan". We thought production values had improved this series, though maybe the dialogue hasn't. In any case, it had a passage that I thought was among the ( slashiest dialogue I've ever heard... )

Supernatural: Free to Be You and Me...

This episode was a delightful birthday present from the television gods just for me. Oh, Castiel. That angel gets better all the time.

Mind you, the episode should have been named "Daddy Issues". ( Or maybe... )

Since I was clueless about the title of the episode of Supernatural last week, I looked it up this week. "Free to Be You and Me". I then looked it up on YouTube and got a lot of hits for this episode. How... circular.
