Last night
explodedteabag and I watched
Merlin series 2 episode 1, "The Curse of Cornelius Sigan". We thought production values had improved this series, though maybe the dialogue hasn't. In any case, it had a passage that I thought was among the
slashiest dialogue I've ever heard on television. It's a conversation between Merlin and his mentor Gaius:
Merlin: I just want Arthur to trust me, and one day to see me as I really am.
Gaius: One day he will.
Merlin: When? Everything I do is for him, and he just thinks I'm an idiot.
