First of all, I don't much want a spirit animal. I never did like the idea, and Philip Pullman put me off even more.

But if I were to choose, I'd choose a dog.

I'd rather have a real, physical dog than the spirit version, though.

My Dragon Spirit Guide...

Because I didn't much like the "Spirit Guide" question, I did a quiz I did like: "Which dragon is your spirit guide?" Well, I'd have said the fire dragon, if you asked me (hah!) but I rather like what I got:




A Reiki practicioner once told me my spirit guide was a bear. Fajrurso? I don't think so.

Doctor Who: The Next Companion...

So they've announced the companion in the next Doctor Who movie: Lindsay Duncan.

So, as usual with these things, I never heard of her. But... she looks promising. And she's worked with Matt Smith. I wonder if there's anyone left who hasn't worked with Matt Smith?

But - "the Doctor's cleverest and most strong-minded companion yet." I should think that Rose, Martha and Donna are hard acts to follow.

And in current celebrity gossip...

And the news (from ohnotheydidnt) is that Sarah Shahi got married to Steve Howey in a rather ugly brown dress with an Elvis Impersonator present. Which at least implies a lovely playfulness to the occasion.

I'm mad over that woman. Lucky Steve.

On the other hand, he looks pretty cute, and must have a good sense of humour. So... lucky Sarah.

And I wish them both well.
