Where does the day go?
First, I got up to do my early-Saturday-morning routine: run the computer-upkeep programs like virus-checking, spyware-checking, and defragging; and to do my morning exercises, half of it postponed from yesterday, when I was too worn out to do weights. (Sometimes one must readjust. Flexibility is the key.) While doing this, I watched the first part of "Our Friends in the North" with Christopher Eccleston and Daniel Craig. Initial thoughts: good characters, interesting situation, no structure to the story at all.
Then I went to Costco with

maaseru and got blank CDs and a hot dog. Next: to the Silver Snail for this week's comics. Next: groceries. Next: cleaning up my hard drive so I'd have more free space. I burned things I wanted to keep and deleted things I didn't and now I've got 47% free space. Which is good, but I'd hoped to make it to 50%, but everything that's left is precious and in constant use - except some things like Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer, which I've been advised not to erase.And then I got rambling on about Toshiko Sato and Owen Harper in my reply to
janne_d's comments about the Torchwood characters, because, well, just because I love doing that and it's Saturday and I can.And there's still housework to do, and I'd wanted to have a nice quiet afternoon to write before friends came over for dinner....
No, no point whining, here I go, into the breach: dishes to wash, floors to vacuum. Tell Logan to stop throwing feathers around the place, will you?
