Where does the day go?
First, I got up to do my early-Saturday-morning routine: run the computer-upkeep programs like virus-checking, spyware-checking, and defragging; and to do my morning exercises, half of it postponed from yesterday, when I was too worn out to do weights. (Sometimes one must readjust. Flexibility is the key.) While doing this, I watched the first part of "Our Friends in the North" with Christopher Eccleston and Daniel Craig. Initial thoughts: good characters, interesting situation, no structure to the story at all.
Then I went to Costco with

And there's still housework to do, and I'd wanted to have a nice quiet afternoon to write before friends came over for dinner....
No, no point whining, here I go, into the breach: dishes to wash, floors to vacuum. Tell Logan to stop throwing feathers around the place, will you?
