Torchwood grumble...

Frustrating: I keep reading Torchwood fanfic, and, good or bad, one story after another features a Captain Jack I just can't recognize or enjoy. Thank goodness both becky_h and aibhinn have recently posted Jack/Doctor pieces that made me feel better. But, I wail self-servingly, my favourite Torchwood and Doctor Who writers aren't writing. Maybe they're working on something long that just hasn't been posted yet? Or maybe I just haven't discovered all the good ones yet.

Anyone have any recommendations? (For any fandom I'd know?)

My dentist just moved my appointment to 8:30 tomorrow morning: maybe that's why I'm feeling grumpy.

Maybe I should try writing something upbeat to cheer myself up. Hmm.

Torchwood: Captain Jack's sexuality...

becky_h initiated an interesting discussion about how Captain Jack is not a slut on torch_wood yesterday, and while I've only read part of the commentary so far (and plan to return to read more) I wanted to first voice a few thoughts of my own about the subject.

And let me start by saying it's okay if he is a slut. ( It's a fine tradition. )

Pine isn't a flavour...
