Printers...

Ever since josannpq got a laser printer a few years ago, I've been wanting one. Well, today is the day. It's being delivered tonight. And I think it's an HP4+, which is the lovely machine I used at work for a decade and loved with a gentle passion.

At last, I'll be able to print things again at home! Not that the Lexmark I had didn't work; it was a lovely machine, but the ink was so expensive I couldn't afford to replace it whenever it ran out.

I've been fighting a headache all day. I think the headache is winning. But Sheila is coming over with a new episode of Veronica Mars so I'm happy.

A strangely eventful evening...

Usually my evenings are quiet. This one wasn't.

Sheila came over, I made supper, and we settled down to watch Smallville. A few minutes into it, Sandi phoned to say her brother had died - not unexpected, but nevertheless sad. Then a nice gentleman named Frank came to deliver and install the printer. (I didn't have to do a thing!) And the phone kept ringing, with one thing or another....

But I have a beautiful printer, and no qualms about using it.
