Why do I do these things? Am I becoming a quiz junkie as well as an LJ addict? Am I compulsive? Gullible? Curious? Or just a sucker for any kind of a quiz, name generator, or anything that lets me fill in options?

Or all of the above?

Hmmph. I just did a quiz sent to me by my friend Glenn, who has a cute/weird sense of humour. It's called "the most useless test ever" and it told me I was a green dolphin covered in postage stamps.

That may be no more or less realistic than being told I am Chris Keller or promising me sex with Eomer (still waiting for that!) but somehow it isn't as much fun.

I got this one from [livejournal.com profile] lexalot. I tried a few options on this one - different powers - and found all the names generated were really pathetically lame. Things Stan Lee would have rejected back in the 60s when he was creating the Crimson Dynamo and the Red Skull. Ah well. I already have a real superhero name. It's Fajrdrako.

I chose magnetism as my power because of Magneto. Obviously. This was after trying super-agility because of Gambit (though that isn't the sum of his powers) but my result was lamer still.

from this day forward your superhero name will be:

The Fighting
Freak

your special power is: Magnetism

Now, really, if my superhero name was The Fighting Freak, would I go out in public?

This was in answer to the challenge:

Dodecal #10 - An unexpected catastrophe mars Lex's wedding preparations. What is it? Describe and enjoy doing it. (144 words).

I made it wishful thinking.

I read a CLex story yesterday that I really enjoyed, by [livejournal.com profile] isagel. It was called "Conditioned" .

It isn't pretentious. It's just one of those lovely hot stories that take good characterization and a plausible situation of developing UST and develop the theme smoothly, slickly, delicately to a point. Lex made me smile. Clark made me grin. And both of them are sexy.

I don't want to give spoilers, but don't you love this paragraph? It's Lex's point of view:

"Clark's presence was warm and still, slouched against the leather with that clumsy grace he couldn't help displaying. Perfect like a $500 rent boy, without knowing there was anything to sell. Innocent, despite the things they'd done together. The things he had come here to do today."
