Richard III
It is the winter
I am so sad
The sun in York
Makes others glad
So I must plot
With woozily head
And find a way
To make them dead
(I'd have made the seventh line 'with woozy head'; he must have been proofreading himself insufficiently. No matter, still clever.)
And, for contrast:
Cat in the Hat
Feline prowess adorn-ed with a chapeau,
High-crowned and striped like a vortex.
I don't think the second attempt is so successful - it doesn't sound authentically Shakespearean to me, too flowery - but still fun.
