I watched the first episode of
Criminal Minds this evening, since it had been recommended to me by various people, including
maaseru and
redmtl. It didn't exactly blow me away, but the story and acting were good. I have trouble with stories in which women are kidnapped and imprisoned and vicitmized, but that wasn't too much of a problem ... I was reminded somewhat of
The Inside, a show I really loved and miss.
Otherwise: worked most of the day. Had a nice supper with
maaseru. Did my best to get the ink stain out of the white shirt I wore yesterday - it has faded, but is still visible. I'll try again.

Date: 2011-04-04 10:37 am (UTC)To give you an idea, I thought ep 1 of the UK Sherlock was excellent (and stunned by my reaction, I'm usually such a book purist), and was somewhat disappointed with the next two eps, because they became a lot more predictable.
Disliked the first ep of the new Hawaii 5-0, but watched a few more eps, cause they were there. Still disliking it.

I like Alex O'Loughlin, Grave Park and Daniel Dae Kim, but I don't like the other actors and characters in Hawaii Five-O and the stories are rather over-violent and unimpressive. I don't really like the mindset of the show. Still, it's good to watch while I'm doing exercises: eye candy and lots of lively music.
