Let's say it was watchable enough to give a few more eps a chance. They get one bonus for the promo plot and there wasn't anything that made me cringe. Had some of the tropes that go with the "tortured obnoxious genius intuitively solving crimes" shows like the Mentalist or Life, but didn't annoy me like those two shows do. It was too slow, but that could be my mood, or the promo. I don't want to say more cause I'm not sure how you feel about spoilers.
To give you an idea, I thought ep 1 of the UK Sherlock was excellent (and stunned by my reaction, I'm usually such a book purist), and was somewhat disappointed with the next two eps, because they became a lot more predictable. Disliked the first ep of the new Hawaii 5-0, but watched a few more eps, cause they were there. Still disliking it.
