Something cool happened this evening. While doing my arm exercises during the day, I'd paused the television in the middle of watching an episode of The Man From U.N.C.L.E., the first episode of first season, "The Vulcan Affair". It was showing the scene where the power-weapon-station is about to blow up.

So my friend Pim came in and turned on the television, and was momentarily surprised to see I'd been watching something in black and white, which I don't usually. "It looks good," she said. "It looks like Metropolis or something." Then she and maaseru tried to guess what it was. maaseru guessed, like the good U.N.C.L.E. fan that she is - the then, she knows me. Pim said she'd like to see the show - she was too young to watch it when it first came out.

Looks like I might have found myself friends to watch with.
