April Snow - The Horror...

Yesterday I was wandering around the neighbourhood happily taking photos of crocuses and springtime sunshine. Today, I got to to see this - the view from my living room window:

Dashing my dreams of spring... rain in April gives one hope of flowers. But snow? It's just more winter, and we've had enough.

I genuinely loathe early spring.

A friend of mine assures me that this is because I grew up in New Hampshire. Well, it sucks in Boston too. Apparently there are places in the world where it doesn't suck?

When I lived in London, April was gorgeous. The weather for the rest of the year was absolutely awful, but April was great.

Perhaps you could try central California (if you don't mind the earthquakes and wildfires, that is).

I am not recommending B.C., as they too were hit by snow recently (but there is no snow in their current forecast, just lots of Rain).

Live in California? Shudder. Nice place to visit but... No, wait, I've never been to central California, now I think of it. I've been to LA, San Diego, San Francisco, Palo Alto - but never to the central part of the State. Maybe I'd like it. But then, I wouldn't want to live in the US, regardless.

My favourite part of North American geography is Nova Scotia. I don't imagine they're great for snow, either.
