Willing, absolutely - I would love to, but am not entirely sure about the "able" part, unless you really weren't in a hurry. Maybe you could get someone else to do it as main beta-person, and I could provide additional comments whose level of detail would depend on how swamped I am by Real Life in the next week or so? Sorry to be so fail-y. I want to do this, but don't want to commit and then risk not delivering...

I understand only too well - I've done that, and felt like shit about it. Life is life. It happens.

It does have a deadline - Saturday. Maybe I'll polish it a little and send it to you, with the understand that you don't have to read it and don't have to comment, but if you get a chance to, so much the better - ?

I have done plenty of editing of others' writing, just not fic. Oh, and I still haven't seen the first 3? series of Doctor Who, so I'm probably not the right person, perhaps.

Shouldn't matter in the least. I'm not so worried about canon and plot details as simple things like spelling, typos, and sentences that don't make sense. (Even though they made perfect sense when they were still in my head. How does that happen?)

Yeah, weird isn't it? I think it's related to how we fill things in when we re-read our own writing. It makes so much more sense that way.
