-21C today, which puts it well below 0F, which is too cold for civilized thought.

But it's easier to get around than when the temperature stays around the freezing point.

Then you would not have liked Winnipeg, where I grew up. Every January, there would be a spell where the temperature would go down to -40 (C or F) and stay there for a while.

... I would have hated it. I start whining about the cold when it gets to 5° over freezing point and don't stop until it hits 10-15°C again. 'm gonna emigrate to a warm warm warm country at some point.

I have no complaints with any temperature that's higher than the freezing point - you don't have to worry about ice, then. And no risk of frostbite. Makes it good for walking. I don't much like extremely high temperatures, either. I've yet to find a place that doesn't get either too hot or too cold, though.

Anything between 15°C and 30°C works for me, anything not in that range and you can expect much whining from my direction, yus.

I'd say 15C is perfect. At 30C I'm not so comfortable.

At 29°C I'm perfectly comfortable, at 30°C I wanna lie down and just sunbathe and go swimming and do nothing else. If I can do that- perfect.

It goes to -40C/F in Ottawa too, in January, usually. At least for a little while. But I think December 8 is too early to be this cold. I object. I'm not ready for this!
