World Enough and Time

Had a lovely dinner with Marion and Vicky, and maaseru, and we watched the Fringe pilot again. We talked about White Collar - they said that in their copy (recorded from local TV) they have a scene in the Pilot in which Peter meets Mozzie. We were speculating as to whether this will be on the DVD, and if so, whether it will be as part of the show, or a deleted scene.

We also saw their beautiful new car - a dark blue Nissan Altima. With a sun roof they don't intend ever to use. What a waste! It's all delightfully high tech, and even has a jack for an MP3 player.

While doing exercises, I watched the first two episodes of The Good Wife, and enjoyed it very much.

Went to Cotton Ginny with maaseru, and bought sleeveless tops that will expand my wardrobe of "things I can wear with my brace on, and without hurting my arm". Also bought organic underwear. I smile at the concept, but it feels very soft.

Breakfasted at Bramasole, then went to the Silver Snail. I'd cancelled my entire subscrption list when I broke my elbow because I was so bummed out about not being able to pick up my comics. maaseru reminded me I'd promised to get Stargate: Daniel Jackson for her; luckily, we haven't missed it. I reinstated my subscriptions for Iron Man, the new X-Men, Echo, and Previews. And now I'm subscription #22.
