World Enough and Time

This evening a pagan friend gave me a Brigid's Cross made of pipe cleaners. It looked sort of like this:



I found a webpage that tells me how to make them. And more information here.

Wondering what to do with it, I looked it up on Wikipedia. I'm still not sure. Looking for the Brigid/Imbolc connection, I see that her feast day is Feb. 1, Imbolc is around Feb. 2.

Anyone know more about where I can find information on this?
