This Captain Jack Harkness vid was linked by [livejournal.com profile] shayne_mayhem today, and I was so glad to see it. One of the few that focuses on the story as I think it goes.

I don't usually go for motivational videos, but I found this one pretty much heartbreaking.

I really enjoyed this National Geographic Chimp Vid.

My caption: "It's looking at us."

I don't really like the tone of this video, and I don't buy the 'tiny place' cliché, but the content is terrific.

I like to think of Captain Jack's little Chula chip, chugging out there among the galaxies. And the TARDIS flitting around the millennia.

This trailer for Doctor Who series 5 excited me mightily. Especially... Well, so much of it.

Eeeee!

fajrdrako: Ninth Doctor - Christopher Eccleston ([Doctor Who])

Spoiler clip here for Doctor Who "The End of Time, Part 2", but oh my goodness. Apparently this was on UK TV today. I got it from a link on LJ's tennant_love.

You could... )

So... how many days left?

This music vid, 2001: A Who Odyssey, is wonderful, especially the very last bit. The Discover Magazine site said, "Warning: for major Doctor Who nerds only," but I think you'd have to know 2001: A Space Odyssey to get it, too.

[personal profile] commodorified and [personal profile] random made me watch this. It made me laugh mightily.

This afternoon I decided to go for a long walk. It was drizzling a little, but not badly. I set out optimistically. And in less than an hour I was tired and my back was aching. I had to take a bus to get home.

That was really demoralizing. I felt stiff and aching - maybe because of the weather? - which made me feel all the more grumpy.

I cheered myself up by watching John Barrowman on the Paul O'Grady show; first as Zaza from La Cage Aux Folles, and then talking about what he's been doing lately, and how to put false eyelashes on while onstage, and how to wear a corset. And why there are never enough loos for women in theatres. One of those perennial mysteries.

Part 1
Part 2

How I would love to see him in La Cage aux Folles.

I find Paul O'Grady's accent difficult to understand - I need subtitles. What kind of an accent is that?
