A Purchaser's Tale...
Nov. 18th, 2008 07:45 pmThey're nuts at amazon.ca.
I'd ordered myself a copy of Doctor Who: The Writer's Tale by Russell T Davies because, well, I can't live without it. Understandable, right?
Two days ago I got a message saying the couldn't get it but they would continue to try. I almost cancelled the order so I could order it at amazon.co.uk or amazon.com, which would be at a much higher price. While dithering through the next day (because I really can't afford the higher-priced order) I got another message from amazon.ca saying they would ship it to me in late December or early January. I was disappointed, since I was hoping to read it before that, but hey, better late than never.
Then I got a message today to say it had already shipped.
Okay, okay, I'm not complaining. I'm happy. But... confused.
Let's hope they don't change their minds again.
