It would be fun to find a pattern. I'm really not good at origami - but I love trying it! I know there's a book of dinosaur patterns, and I suspect this one is in it.
If I find the pattern, I'll let you know where it is and how to get it. I see that this one (http://www.amazon.com/Origami-Dinosaurs-Yoshihide-Momotani/dp/1568360088/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1226865357&sr=8-3) has 'pterodon' in the index. This book (http://www.amazon.com/Prehistoric-Origami-Dinosaurs-Other-Creatures/dp/1877656011/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1226865357&sr=8-9) is one I've seen before, but the index isn't on the Amazon page and I don't recall seeing a pterodactyl in it.
