A visual treat...

This morning a man got on the bus, who looked like Bruce Willis playing a Mafia mobster.

He had black shirt and trousers, a wide and blindingly white tie, a black leather jacket with lapels, dark glasses, and a striped fedora. Black shoes.

I was fascinated.

How intriguing.

Maybe he was on his way to play the gangster Moonface in Anything Goes... I saw an amateur production of that last weekend and the gangster was by far the best person in it. I also spent some time mentally replacing the male lead with John Barrowman and that was entertaining too :-)

Fun to see. He didn't look like the average guy on the bus. Much better groomed, for one thing!

Sigh. I have not seen that play more than once or twice since I was involved in putting it on when I was in high school ... and don't ask how long ago *that* was! :-/

One of these days, I'd love to join you to see a Broadway musical together. have not seen one for a Long While.

Sadly we don't get a lot of musicals in Ottawa, and when we do, they are usually expensive. Except at Orpheus, maybe.
