Problems? Problems?
Okay, spam. A new and unprecedented way for everyone to be annoyed by messages they don't want. Along with its companions - trojans, viruses, pfishing, and the Nigerian scam.
But the Net has done so much good, at least in my life. Access to so much. New friends from all over the world. Quick communication to make arrangements with friends. Chances to discuss the things I most love - Dunnett, Torchwood, quotations, history. It's like having libraries and magazines and books and slash stories and reference works and movies and music and friends and pictures of John Barrowman and I don't even need to leave my living room. It's wonderful.
