We were all wondering who was writing the excellent Captain's Blog for BBC America, with all its delightful Jack/Ianto slashiness. Turns out it's James Moran, which is good news, especially since he's also working on Torchwood series 3. He wrote 'Sleeper' in series 2.

Isn't that FABULOUS? I was delighted to learn that!

In other good news, S3 filming starts in three weeks!

It is wonderful news.

S3 filming starts in three weeks!

Isn't John Barrowman still doing 'Maria' then? Or maybe it's just over. Or maybe he's the busiest man on the planet.

Happy news, all of it.

Barrowman has Hermione's time-turner.

GDL says the S3 story is the "the most horrible" thing that has happened to the team (to which I say... WHOA, how can things get any more horrible for them?) and very emotional (to which I say... bring it).

Have you seen these adorable pictures from Polaris? (http://marita-c.livejournal.com/12311.html#cutid1) Just add dog for perfect storm of cute!

By George, I think you've got it. What other explanation could there be?

GDL says the S3 story is the "the most horrible" thing that has happened to the team

Aww, c'mon, how could that be?

very emotional (to which I say... bring it).

Oh, yes, yes, yes!

As for the Polaris picture - oh my goodness. Wonderful.

Moran posted it on his own blog.... Let's see if I can find it.... yes, here (http://jamesmoran.blogspot.com/2008/07/holiday-pimpage-and-torchwood.html). The relevant bit:
if you want some spillage, I am now able to reveal that I know who did the Captain's Blogs on the BBC America site: it was an extremely dashing, clever gentleman called... oh blimey, how embarrassing! It's me again! Er, yes, it was. Sorry, I pretended not to know because I had to keep quiet. Now that I've come clean, I feel so much better.
