It's summer, so our Summer Drama Workshops are going on.

I always love overhearing the kids' conversations when I go by. This morning they were sitting in the Green Room discussing religion - which ones, I don't know. Mid-teens, these people. One boy was saying, "I wouldn't call it a cult, exactly. It's more of a pyramid scheme."

I love it.

I was made ridiculously happy this morning, shopping in Sainsburys, when a mother went by pushing a trolley, followed by her little boy who must have been about 5 who was very cheerfully chanting, "Ex-ter-min-ate! Ex-ter-min-ate!" as he marched past. Almost as good as the woman coming the opposite way who saw him, threw up her hands and squeaked "Oh no, Dalek!"

Oh, what a pretty icon. Excuse me while I stare and admire.

Now, what was I saying? ... Right!

Love the Sainsbury Dalek-battle you encountered. That's brilliant. I'd have been cowering behind my cart.

I love this world.

Oh, scientology I'd bet, with a quote like that.

Uh oh, is this an unlocked entry? :)

Yes, that sounds like a very good guess!

Uh oh, is this an unlocked entry? :)

Your link leads to a page I'm not allowed to access, but I trawled around the rest of the site. Kids doing drama workshops are such fun, aren't they - so much energy and passion. My daughter R has just been helping to run one at school for the week, which has left her exhausted but happy (and richer!). Your Little Theatre looks amazing.

It really is an amazing place. We've been having classes for kids here since at least the 1950s - I'm not sure when it started. I love seeing the kids here, especially when they get into the costumes and have a production going on - they're having their end-of-session production this afternoon, a pastiche of Shakespeare called 'An Hour of Your Life You'll Never Get Back'.

Sorry the link didn't work, but I'm glad you found the site anyway.
