No Alternative

Jack stood on a high rooftop, looking over the city.

Somewhere in Cardiff there was probably another living Sleeper; another Sleeper cell. And somewhere far away, undetectable by twenty-first century technology, a warship from the Home Planet would be monitoring them, the Sleepers of Earth.

It was only a matter of time.

He remembered Grey, disappearing so quickly, with the noise of the invaders coming.

It would make Canary Wharf look like a picnic, and there was no one around to stop it except him. Torchwood had found Beth; they would find and stop the others.

Always. No alternative. Always.

Yes, UNIT would help. Though I'm not sure Jack trusts UNIT.
