Future Present
Toshiko didn't believe in time travel. It was conceptually impossible - fine for science fiction, absurd in reality.
Then she met Jack Harkness, who knew too much about the future.
His lover, John Hart, called them both "Time Agents", and laughed about it.
Time Agents. The words echoed in her brain as she noticed the glint in John's eye, the cockeyed smile, the flirtatious glance he gave each of them. "Worse than Jack," said Owen, but they were two of a kind, Captain John and their own Captain Jack.
Time travellers. Men from the future.
Toshiko's heart pounded with excitement.

Date: 2008-05-12 04:57 pm (UTC)It would be thrilling, particularly those two. And yet as far as we know she never asked them anything about it.
They would have knowledge of and access to so much tech that it would have made her the happiest geek in the world.

it would have made her the happiest geek in the world.
It certainly would!

Besides - who wouldn't be intrigued by time travel? I certainly would be!
