The Man in Uniform

Through the crack in the door, Ianto watched Captain Jack approach the mysterious stranger. Jack showed no fear, but there was aggression in his stance.

The man in uniform was not a stranger to Jack, of course. His tone over the com had been familiar, bantering. What'd he want?

They came face to face. Nose to nose. Lips to lips. No pretenses: this was lust - fast-triggered raw desire between ex-lovers whose love still ran hot.

Ianto thought: First he leaves me for his Doctor. Now this.

Loving Jack wasn't easy.

It was a relief when they started to fight.

Ianto is not, and never will be, a lesser man. And if there is any quality he possesses, it's loyalty. (Okay, he betrayed Jack once, but only briefly...)
