Torchwood: en français...

Yesterday I watched the Torchwood episode "Capitaine Jack Harkness" in French. It was wonderful, of course, as wonderful as in English, and just as romantic. Sometimes more so. Early in the episode, the 1941 Jack makes a toast to our Jack, which in French comes out as "à vous, mon capitaine" - sounds delicious sexy to my English ear.

Though I didn't catch the word Jack uses when he describes the other Jack as 'hot' and - as I expected - couldn't make out a word of Owen's comment on the tea-boy as Jack's part-time shag. Perhaps lmondegreen or josanpq will come to my rescue at some point? Luckily I have many friends who are truly much more bilangue than I.
