Two Ladies

Once we took him into our bed he was a delightful handful, pretty Jack Harkness, man from the future. His skin tasted of stardust. Couldn't believe a word he said: he was a slut and a liar. Took pain well. Whatever Torchwood gave, he could take. We thrilled to that flash of his eye when we angered him, when we got under his skin, my Mistress and I.

"You were the Doctor's catamite, weren't you?" I asked as I rode him.

"His friend," he lied, and I slapped him, hard.

He laughed, angry.

It was good for both of us.

Oooo, naughty! Wonderful! I bet he's a delightful handful!

Taking pain well; there's his soldier's upbringing. :-D

Frankly, given what Jack has been through, I don't think whatever the Torchwood ladies dished out could have been comparatively so bad. Mind you, all that coming back from the dead is tough. But Jack, as a child, faced torture at the hands of 'the worst creatures you can imagine' - the Torchwood ladies wouldn't scare him. Much.

Glad you enjoyed!

A little kinky, a little sad...

That could be said to describe a lot of Jack's life.

I really don't like those ladies, and this does not make me like them any better - but it is a cool fic and it fits what we saw of them nicely. Poor Jack, getting mixed up with that pair.

Yes - they seemed to pretty much want to blackmail Jack, or at least to force them to sign himself over to them. I wouldn't trust them an inch, and I don't think Jack did either - not after how they treated him. They killed him, what, half a dozen times? Simply as an experiment? Ouch.

Hardly. Put up with them, yes. And outlive them with a smile.

I hadn't thought that they were responsible for his 14 deaths they mentioned though; I thought they had just been watching him and that Jack had just been really careless (and drunk) for 6 months.

Also, thanks to your title, I now have "Two Ladies" from Cabaret completely stuck in my head. Beedly dee dee deeee, two ladies...

Probably not, but we saw them kill him several times. The bottle-stabbing from the brawl was probably not their doing at all, but with us watching they strangled him, shot him, and electrocuted him to death in order to watch him recover.

Ah, now there's a kink story for Jack as well. Berlin with Isherwood in the 1930s... ahh, those were the days.

Berlin with Isherwood in the 1930s

And it's even canonical, though I can't remember the episode now.

I'm trying to remember the context now... that, and the Proust line. Damn! Hate it when I forget.

Jack said the Proust line to Owen sometime soon after he died, so either in DMW or in ADitD.

Yes. I'll just have to watch episodes till I find it! It doesn't seem to be in the transcriptions I've found... yet.

Excellent! I confess I had to look up catamite. Kudos for the period vocabulary.

You're very welcome!

I love a little period detail for verisimilitude.
