Where Darkness Hides

Adam danced among their memories and knew their minds. He looked for fear, because that was where darkness hid. He found Ianto's memory of a woman in the basement of the Hub, forehead bleeding, pleading for her life as Ianto raised his gun -

Delicious.

Gwen's memory: cannibals, fairies, and Jack dying, dying, and dying again. Jack at the centre of her mind.

Tosh: excruciating loneliness.

Owen: raised voices, a maternal image - was that love or hate?

Inside Captain Jack's deeply locked mind there lurked Dalek-dust, vortex flux, and - wreathed in pain - the coldness of an empty room.
