Wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff...

When I got up this morning, I thought I'd lost an hour. Had I really been lazing in bed so long?
Then I realized it wasn't just me. Everyone lost an hour. (I really don't like this time-changing business... I don't think there's any point to it.)
And what a snowy world it is out there today.

Date: 2008-03-09 02:36 pm (UTC)Ditto. I don't mind it quite as much when we're gaining an hour in the fall, but still. I've had one too many days messed up by the clocks changing on me to be able to appreciate it.

Date: 2008-03-10 02:12 am (UTC)Though I completely forgot about it and had an early morning appointment for which I couldn't be late. Remembered at 5:00 in the morning that I had set my clock for 7:00am which gave me plenty of time, but that it was really 8:00, which meant I would barely make it.

Date: 2008-03-10 02:55 am (UTC)"If we have to have it" is the operative phrase. I am unconvinced of its necessity. That being said, I don't really care when it is - early, late, whatever. I'd just rather not have it at all.
As for remembering your appointment - woo, thank goodness. Nick of time. Just as well I didn't have any morning commitments this morning, or I'd have missed them!

Date: 2008-03-09 06:19 pm (UTC)I don't understand why we do the time change thing either, and now we're adjusting it closer together (later in the fall, earlier in the spring) why not just get rid of it? I thought it had something to do w/ energy use.
Well there's lots of info on wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_saving_time For some reason, I didn't think Europe did DST. Hmm.
