Torchwood: Day One... Series 2... Bingo
Jan. 16th, 2008 03:05 pmI think I've gone from counting days to counting minutes. What, eager, me?
Ahem.
Meanwhile, someone posted a link to a TV Guide mention of Torchwood today. It says:
Question: Got anything on the new season of Torchwood?— TKI like the way he put that.
Ausiello: Aside from this exclusive clip of Spike frenching Capt. Harkness in the Jan. 26 season premiere?
Let's see…. Don't expect the scoobies to get a resolution to the "Where'd Jack disappear to in the finale" right away. I've seen the first two episodes, and they still have no clue where their boss was.Oh, to be a TV critic and know the answers. I like it that Jack still won't talk about the Doctor with them. Not even Ianto? Especially Ianto!

Date: 2008-01-16 09:55 pm (UTC)Of course not! You think the guy's self esteem needs a boost now, you don't want to see him after he finds out his boss/boyfriend has been off screwing a Time Lord. Now THAT'S a tough act to follow.

Yes, a Time Lord is a tough act to follow. In his favour, though, Ianto has youth and humanity, a working relationship with Jack, shared goals, and a certain comparative innocence.
It's a love triangle that I really, really like.
(Disregarding for a moment the many other angles on Jack's love life.)
