So much snow. So very much.
maaseru said she'd drive me home from work; altogether it took us almost two hours of bad, snowy traffic.
So much nicer than the bus, though, with someone to talk to.
After I did get home,
auriaephiala and
commodorified and her family came over - her mother is visiting, so I got to meet her. We ate pork ribs and roast chicken with champ and rice and corn and one of
auriaephiala's lovely salads, and watched
Doctor Who: The Christmas Invasion - my suggestion, because of its Christmas theme, and because I haven't seen it in a while, and none of them ran screaming from the idea. After that we watched
Time Crash and the Confidential about
Time Crash and then the Vividcon music vid with
Doctor Who graphics.
A thoroughly lovely evening.

Date: 2007-12-20 01:58 pm (UTC)Yes, treat yourself to "Christmas Invasion". It isn't my favourite, but I do love David Tennant in it: he's at his most charming, I think.
So curl up on your sofa with drink-of-choice and a bowl of popcorn and enjoy!

Date: 2007-12-20 01:35 pm (UTC)They say it will be raining here over the weekend - which is hard to imagine, but it is getting warmer, and we all know how fast the temperature can rise or drop. It seems unlikely enough that even if it rained for several days we'd lose all the snow, but I suppose it could all turn into sludge and ice. Ugh! At the moment, it's very pretty.
Except that a passing car splashed me in muddy snow this morning - right across the face! - ugh! it was like getting a snowball hit.
