A comfortable day...

Yolande is visiting from Montreal. We went to breakfast at Von's - once again I ordered the smoked salmon omelette rather than the potato latke that

We went to After Stonewall, and I bought a mystery novel.

I also went to the Silver Snail for comics, and to Bridgehead.
We went to Lee Valley, where I'd never been before. They have comfy chairs in their book section. I curled up and read about how to make Mission furniture. (Which was not what I thought it was, even though I'm not now sure how it would be defined.) It was fun browsing all their arts and crafts; and among all these books of garden landscaping, pyrography, woodcarving and making toys, they had one copy of the book 84 Charing Cross Road by Helene Hanff. Why on earth?
We went to CostCo and had a hot dog, and bought a turkey.
After supper, sat around talking to Yolande about books, the universe and everything.
