Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] raissad, I read this article which says that Christopher Eccleston will return to Heroes next season. Even though they spell his name wrong, I believe them. I want to believe. Picture me doing the spinach dance of happiness.1

Best part of the interview: Best answer of the night: 'What superpower would you want a US president to have? Jack Coleman: "A brain."'

~ ~ ~

1 "The spinach dance of happiness" was taught to me by my house guest, Squeaker the guinea pig, who does a remarkable dance of ecstasy at the sight of a handful of spinach. She has taught me a whole new level of expression of happiness; imagine Snoopy's dance Suppertime performed at double speed and twice the intensity.

Actually, I find this (http://www.edmontonsun.com/Entertainment/Showbiz/2007/09/01/4462879-sun.html) wonderfully ironic, given how many genre shows film in Canada.

The US pretending to be Canada seems rather suitable, in redressing an imbalance, considering how often it happens the other way round. And how many US shows can you think of that feature scenes in Canada? I can't think of any, but maybe I don't watch enough.

But then Heroes, while thoroughly centred on the US, is more international in scope than most US shows anyway. Which is wonderful. And we've not only had scenes in India, it looks as if we'll be getting scenes in feudal Japan!

Whatever they're doing - I look forward to it.
